LaserThai® in Unicode™ provides professional-quality, Unicode-encoded Thai fonts in TrueType® OpenType™ format. These Thai fonts include all letters, accents and tones used in the Thai language. Because the LaserThai in Unicode fonts include OpenType layout features, every vowel and tone mark is automatically positioned as you type. The fonts also include the Latin 1 and Extended Latin character sets supporting English and other western European languages. Keyboard drivers (keyboard resources) are included following both the popular GatManee and PattaChote keyboard layouts. LaserThai in Unicode fonts are fully compatible between Windows and Macintosh—documents created on one computer platform can be transferred and read on the other platform with no conversion necessary.

LaserThai in Unicode for Windows
LaserThai in Unicode for Windows
LaserThai in Unicode for Windows includes three keyboard layouts that provide four-characters-per-key input in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP, and 2000. The Thai keyboards follow the popular GatManee layout and the PattaChote layout. Simply type the consonant, the vowel, then the tone mark, and the diacritics are automatically positioned as you type. The third keyboard supports English and all other Roman-based languages supported by the fonts. (This allows the user to type both Thai and English, or another Latin-based language, without changing fonts.)
Windows System Requirements
Operating Systems
Requires Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP, or 2000.

Microsoft Publisher is compatible, but QuarkXPress, FrameMaker, and PageMaker are not.
Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 is not compatible with LaserThai in Unicode for Windows. All text is changed to the Arial font, whether typed with the keyboard, input using Insert Symbol, or pasted from Word using the Windows clipboard. PowerPoint users should type their text in Word and save the text as a graphic for import into PowerPoint. Users can also use WordArt to create their text. To do this in PowerPoint go to Insert, Picture, WordArt, and type your text, formatting it as desired. Alternatively, users can type directly into PowerPoint using our non-Unicode LaserThai fonts. (Earlier versions of PowerPoint have not been tested for compatibility.)
