Hebrew & Greek Transliterator for Macintosh
This transliterator consists of a series of macros in a Word 2004 document that will transliterate Hebrew or Greek text typed with Linguist's Software's fonts. The text can be transliterated from ASCII to ASCII, ASCII to Unicode, or Unicode to Unicode format. The ASCII text is converted to the TranslitSBL font from the Semitic Transliterator product. LaserANSEL
LaserANSEL enables the user to create files in regular Windows and Macintosh applications which may be transferred to bibliographic software that requires standard ANSEL encoding (e.g., MARC). The ANSEL font (often called the "MARC" font) contains the Latin alphabet of ASCII plus characters and diacritics conforming to the American National Standard Extended Latin Alphabet Coded Character Set for Bibliographic Use. For greater flexibility of use, Linguist's Software has added diacritics for uppercase letters and a number of special letter combinations. The ANSEL font does not require the use of specialized MARC software, but will work in all Windows and Macintosh applications that give the user access to the fonts installed in the system. LaserMalayalam in Unicode for Macintosh
LaserMalayalam in Unicode for Macintosh includes the MalayalamLSU (traditional) and MalayalamLSUR (reformed) fonts in TrueType format. MalayalamLSU has hundreds of conjuncts. It also makes the complete alphabet and conjuncts with preceding "ra". The MalayalamLSUR font produces the reformed versions of the short-u and long-u vowels, the "ri" vowel, and the succeeding "ra". The product includes two software keyboard layouts: phonetic and traditional. The Phonetic layout places the consonants and vowels on the US keyboard phonetically as much as possible, while the Traditional follows the Malayalam traditional method. LaserMongolian
The distinctive Mongolian script can now be typed in Windows and Macintosh applications using LaserMongolian fonts. This product contains four TrueType® and Type 1 hinted fonts: MongolLS (for Outer Mongolian) and MongolInLS (for Inner Mongolian), and MongolRoman, and MongolRomanVert (both Latin scripts for use with the Mongolian scripts). LhasaLS is a modern-style Tibetan font that has all of the characters, numbers, and diacritics used in modern Tibetan, plus many Sanskritized characters. TibetanBlock is a woodblock Tibetan font that has the same character set as LhasaLS, but this typeface mimics the characters printed on cloth with wooden blocks in Tibet. Four Type 1 and TrueType Urdu fonts with four corresponding Arabic and Persian (Farsi) fonts. Windows product includes a Word for Windows template for easy right to left input (one line at a time) in the US (English) version of Word for Windows. The Word for Windows right to left template does not overcome all the limitations of working in the English (left-to-right) Windows environment. The user must still be careful about word wrap at the right end of each line, and have a carriage return at the end of each complete line of Urdu text to prevent the right-most word (the first word in an Urdu sentence) from wrapping to the next line. The Word right to left template does, however, provide an easy way to type Urdu as if you were typing in a right to left environment, while still using your English application, and is ideal for typing short amounts of text. The New Testament Manuscripts Font Collection includes fonts for the following codices or papyri of the New Testament or distinctive character forms of inscriptions from that period: Codex Vaticanus, Codex Sinaiticus, Codex Alexandrinus, Codex Bezae, Codex Bezae Latin, Codex Washingtonianus, P46, P66, P.Oxy.4401 (Oxyrhynchus papyrus 4401), P39, and the Konya inscriptions.
