Language Support
Complete Arabic versions of Microsoft Windows, with fully
integrated Arabic language support, including right to left input with proper word wrap
and contextualization of characters. These products have all the features of US Windows,
but have Arabic menus and dialog boxes and on-line help files. They include Arabic TrueType® fonts (Traditional, with ligatures, and
Simplified character sets), along with standard English Windows fonts.
WordPad (included in Arabic Windows) permits bilingual Arabic and English word processing. All Windows applets,
including Paint, have Arabic support. Quickly toggle between Arabic and English input by
hitting the hotkey or clicking the mouse on the language indicator button. The font and direction
of input will change automatically. All paper documents are in Arabic. Most US Windows applications will run within Arabic
Windows, but with English fonts only (most will not recognize the Arabic fonts).
Arabic-localized applications, such as Arabic Office,
will provide full bilingual support.
