You no longer need to restart Windows 3.1 to change keyboard layouts.
EuroRoman for Windows provides keyboard files from which you may choose keyboard layouts
for twenty national standard keyboards. You may switch to any layout at will, without
restarting Windows. Now you may quickly change to a non-US Windows keyboard layout and
easily access the European (and other) accented characters that are resident in your
regular Windows fonts. As you add other Windows fonts that follow code page 1252 (Windows
Latin 1, ANSI), you may then access the accented characters in those fonts with ease.
Regular Windows fonts contain many accents, accented letters, and other
symbols in the extended ANSI character set (ANSI positions 128-255). In Windows 3.1 these
characters are normally typed in one of three cumbersome ways: 1) Each time you need an
alternate keyboard, reconfigure and restart Windows, and when you want to go back to the
English keyboard, reconfigure and restart Windows again; 2) Type the accented characters
using ANSI code input (look up the ANSI code in a reference book, hold down the Alt key
and type 0 plus the three digit ANSI code for each character); or 3) If your word
processor provides access to an ANSI table, find it, search for the characters you want,
and insert them one at a time into your document.
EuroRoman for Windows avoids all these problems and provides a much
simpler method of typing the special characters. EuroRoman for Windows allows you to
switch between national standard keyboards with a single hotkey, and then provides access
to all the accented characters and other symbols used in that language, directly from the
keyboard. There is no need to look up or type codes, and no need to restart Windows. You
may assign keyboard layouts to Function keys and switch between them at will, and return
to the US keyboard at any time.
Even though Windows Me, 98 and 95 provide the ability to choose and
toggle between these keyboards, these operating systems do not provide keyboard
layout charts to show you how to type the accented letters. EuroRoman is
therefore of value to Windows Me, 98 and 95 users because it includes full
installation and use instructions, including paper keyboard charts.

Here's what others are saying about LaserGreek and EuroRoman:
"The EuroRoman keyboard program is also excellent. I
wrote two large research papers for my doctoral classes using both the
French, German, and Spanish keyboards. They all worked perfectly."
