Modern Greek II for Windows
Five TrueType® and Type-1 fonts in plain, bold,
italic, and bold-italic styles: Times®-style
Odyssea II, Payne II, Hellenica II, and GraecaUBS II; and Helvetica®-style GreekSansMod, all
with the modern Greek keyboard layout. The fonts match in style the fonts in LaserGreek II (but without the classical and Biblical diacritics and
text critical sigla), and the font arrangement conforms to the Greek Windows code page
1253, allowing the direct transfer of files to/from Greek Windows users. All fonts have
matching English characters in the same font.
The fonts install into Microsoft® Windows XP, 2000, NT, Me, 98, 95, or 3.1x
and work with all Windows XP-, 2000-, NT-, Me-, 98-, 95- and 3.1x-compatible
applications that allow the user to select fonts from a font menu. The
Type 1
fonts require Adobe Type Manager® in Windows Me/98/95/3.1. The product includes
a User's Manual, keyboard layout chart(s), and Character Code Tables showing
every character in the font(s). The included Keyboard Switcher (keyboard driver)
allows access to
four characters per key (instead of the normal two) and alternate keyboard layouts.
The fonts alone (without Keyboard Switcher) will install into Linux,
but Linux users must provide alternate keyboard input for characters in the
extended character set. These fonts will print to any printer at
the highest quality allowed by your printer.

The product comes with a Modern Greek keyboard layout for switching between
English and Greek just by pressing the Caps Lock key. Files typed with these
fonts are transferable to/from the Greek operating system.
System Requirements: Includes a
keyboard resource that installs into OS X 10.2 and above or System 7.1-9.x. (This product does not support OS
X 10.0 or 10.1, which do not allow installation of alternate keyboard resources.) The product includes a

If you are transferring files from a Windows computer to your Macintosh,
Modern Greek II fonts and the CrossPlatform Converter for
Macintosh will allow any Macintosh user to transfer modern Greek files (text-only and Rich
Text Format) to or from a Greek Windows (code page 1253)
platform. It also allows easy transfer of files between the Mac and any version of Windows
using a code page 1253 font, such as the Modern Greek II for Windows fonts.
