Fast, simple typing of Athapaskan languages!

TrueType® and Type-1 fonts in plain, bold, italic, and bold-italic styles, containing the characters for these Athapaskan languages: Hän, Gwich'in, Kaska, Navajo, Northern Tutchone, Southern Tutchone, Tagish, Tanacross, Upper Tanana, Tahltan, and Tlingit. The fonts also support the Aleut language, as well as French, German, Spanish, and many other Roman-based languages. Alternate keyboards provide convenient typing of all accents used in Athapaskan and the most commonly-used Roman languages. Available in Times®-, Helvetica®-, Palatino®-, Garamond-, and Chancery-styles.

LaserYukon for Windows

System Requirements: The TrueType® fonts install into Microsoft® Windows 7, Vista, XP, or 2000, and work with all Windows 7-, Vista-, XP-, and 2000-compatible applications that allow the user to select fonts from a font menu. (A previous version is available for Windows NT, Me, 98, or 95; please contact the Sales office.) The product includes a User's Manual and keyboard layout chart(s). The included keyboard driver(s) allows access to four characters per key (instead of the normal two) and alternate keyboard layouts. All documentation is in PDF format, available on the Windows Start menu, and can be viewed and/or printed using Adobe Reader. The fonts will print to any printer at the highest quality allowed by your printer.

A custom version (fonts only) is available for Linux, but Linux users must provide alternate keyboard input for characters in the extended character set. If you are ordering for Linux be sure to select the Linux box on the Order Form.

Cost: US$ 99.95 for a single typestyle (Times®-, Helvetica®-, Palatino®-, Garamond-, Chancery-, or Courier®-style); $149.95 for any two typestyles; $199.95 for any three typestyles; or $249.95 for all five typestyles. (The $50 discounted price for additional typestyles applies only to additional typestyles of this product for Windows.) System Requirements: The font may be typed using the US keyboard, or with an included keyboard resource that installs into OS X 10.2 and above or System 7.1-9.x. (The alternate keyboard does not support OS X 10.0 or 10.1, which do not allow installation of alternate keyboard resources. Owners of OS X 10.0 or 10.1 must use the US keyboard.) The alternate input method uses the EuroScript® scripting system, which installs into Classic Mode of OS X and into System 7.1-9.x. (EuroScript has been tested in OS X 10.3 Classic Mode.) The product includes a User's Manual, keyboard resource, and keyboard layout charts.
