Easily type the Quinault language!

LaserQuinault provides TrueType® and Type-1 fonts in plain, bold, italic, and bold-italic weights containing all the characters and diacritics necessary to type the Native American Quinault language, plus English. LaserQuinault follows the standard Windows and Macintosh font arrangements with these exceptions:

The Keyboard Switcher utility (included in LaserQuinault for Windows) provides an alternate Quinault keyboard layout and easy input of the special Quinault characters and diacritics. The user may switch between the Quinault and US keyboard layouts by pressing a hotkey. The Quinault keyboard resource (included in LaserQuinault for Macintosh) allows you to type all the characters using regular, easy keystrokes. In both the Windows and Macintosh versions you type a deadkey to set up the input of special characters (and nothing happens). Then you type the letter you want and the special Quinault character is input into your file. For example:

The fonts are available in Times®-style (LaserQuinault) and Helvetica®-style (LaserQuinaultSans). The fonts are cross-platform convertible between Windows and Macintosh computers in the same way as are standard Windows and Macintosh fonts.

LaserQuinault for Windows

The fonts install into Microsoft® Windows XP, 2000, NT, Me, 98, 95, or 3.1x, and work with all Windows XP-, 2000-, NT-, Me-, 98-, 95- and 3.1x-compatible applications that allow the user to select fonts from a font menu. The Type 1 fonts require Adobe Type Manager® in Windows Me/98/95/3.1. The product includes a User's Manual, keyboard layout chart(s), and Character Code Tables showing every character in the font(s). The included Keyboard Switcher (keyboard driver) allows access to four characters per key (instead of the normal two) and alternate keyboard layouts. The fonts alone (without Keyboard Switcher) will install into Linux, but Linux users must provide alternate keyboard input for characters in the extended character set. These fonts will print to any printer at the highest quality allowed by your printer.

Cost: US$ 99.95 for either LaserQuinault (Times®-style) or LaserQuinaultSans (Helvetica®-style); or $149.95 for LaserQuinault Professional, containing both LaserQuinault and LaserQuinaultSans. Order
