Now you can easily type any vowel with a macron; simply type the semicolon key and then the vowel. The full vowel plus macron will be inserted in the text. LaserMacron for Windows and LaserMacron for Macintosh are fully cross-platform compatible as any standard English font. Includes User's Manual and Keyboard Layout Chart.

LaserMacron for Windows

Easily type Latin vowels with macrons. LaserMacron for Windows fonts follow ANSI, the Windows Latin 1 (code page 1252) standard for English fonts with the exception of the ten characters shown above, and LaserMacron for Macintosh fonts follow the Apple Macintosh Roman (code page 10000) standard for English fonts with the exception of the same ten characters. This means any file typed in a Windows application using LaserMacron for Windows fonts may be opened in a compatible Macintosh application, using LaserMacron for Macintosh fonts, with no conversion necessary. All vowels with macrons will be converted automatically as long as LaserMacron fonts are installed on both platforms.

The fonts install into Microsoft® Windows XP, 2000, NT, Me, 98, 95, or 3.1x and work with all Windows XP-, 2000-, NT-, Me-, 98-, 95- and 3.1x-compatible applications that allow the user to select fonts from a font menu. The Type 1 fonts require Adobe Type Manager® in Windows Me/98/95/3.1. The product includes a User's Manual, keyboard layout chart(s), and Character Code Tables showing every character in the font(s). The included Keyboard Switcher (keyboard driver) allows access to four characters per key (instead of the normal two) and alternate keyboard layouts. The fonts alone (without Keyboard Switcher) will install into Linux, but Linux users must provide alternate keyboard input for characters in the extended character set. These fonts will print to any printer at the highest quality allowed by your printer.
