LaserKorean for Windows

Five hinted, scalable, single-byte TrueType® and Type-1 Korean fonts: NewSeoul (in plain, bold, italic, and bold-italic styles), and NewHiPusan, HiInchon, NewJeju, and HiGwangju (in plain only). For use in English systems. Each font is compatible with all standard Windows word processing programs. Keyboard layout corresponds closely with the simplest Korean typewriter. Keyboard Switcher utility aids contextualization of letter forms. Has double consonants, double vowels, adjustable consonant positions, etc. to enhance graphic quality.

System Requirements: The TrueType® fonts install into Microsoft® Windows XP, 2000, NT, Me, 98, or 95 and work with all Windows XP-, 2000-, NT-, Me-, 98-, and 95-compatible applications that allow the user to select fonts from a font menu. (A custom version for Windows 3.1 is available by request.) Type 1 fonts are also provided and require Adobe Type Manager® in Windows Me/98/95. The included Keyboard Switcher (keyboard driver) provides alternate keyboard layouts and allows access to four characters per key (instead of the normal two). The product includes a User's Manual, keyboard layout chart(s), and Character Code Tables showing every character in the font(s). All documentation is in PDF format, and can be viewed and/or printed using Adobe Reader. The fonts will print to any printer at the highest quality allowed by your printer.

A custom version (fonts only) is available for Linux, but Linux users must provide alternate keyboard input for characters in the extended character set. If you are ordering for Linux be sure to select the Linux box on the Order Form.

Includes five fonts: NewSeoul (in plain, bold, italic, and bold-italic), and NewHiPusan, HiInchon, NewJeju, and HiGwangju (in plain only). Each is compatible with all standard Macintosh word processing programs. Select them from the font menu of Microsoft® Word, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe Illustrator, etc. Keyboard layout corresponds closely with the simplest Korean typewriter. Has double consonants, double vowels, adjustable consonant positions, etc., to enhance graphic quality.

System Requirements: The font(s) may be typed in OS 7.1-9.x and OS X using the US keyboard. The optional AsiaScript® scripting system installs only into Classic Mode running under OS X or into System 7.1-9.x. (AsiaScript has been tested in OS X 10.3 Classic Mode). The product includes a User's Manual and keyboard layout charts.
