Nine professional quality, hinted, scalable Hebrew fonts in both ATM®-compatible, Type 1 and
TrueType® formats: Moriah, Ramah, and Shiloh for Biblical Hebrew, MoriahC, RamahC, and
ShilohC for Biblical Hebrew, but with cantillation marks more familiar to those reading
regular Jewish prayer books, and MoriahMod, RamahMod, and ShilohMod for modern Hebrew and
Yiddish. The Moriah, MoriahC, Ramah, RamahC, Shiloh, and ShilohC Hebrew fonts contain all vowel
points and accents occurring in the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia (Tanach/OT). Automatic
overstriking vowel points, accents, cantillation marks, and diacritical symbols are able
to be placed over any letter in any combination. These Hebrew fonts have the same character sets
as do the fonts in LaserHebrew. They differ only in typestyle.
LaserHebrew II fonts are English system, left-to-right Hebrew fonts, excellent for those
needing to input Hebrew words or short phrases into an English (or other language)
document. These Hebrew fonts are especially valuable for those working with the Hebrew
Scriptures, allowing you to cut and paste portions of the text into your document.
Eight compatible fonts are available in LaserHebrew.
Those who must be compatible with Hebrew Windows, or who must have a right to
left input system should see our Unicode-encoded fonts,
LaserHebrew in Unicode for Windows or Macintosh.
LaserHebrew II for Windows
Easily type modern and Biblical Hebrew (including all vowels and cantillation marks)
and Yiddish, using logical keyboard input. Includes a Word for Windows
template for easy right to left input (one line at a time) in the US (English)
version of Word for Windows. The Word for Windows right to left template does not overcome all the
limitations of working in the English (left-to-right) Windows environment. The
user must still be careful about word wrap at the right end of each line, and
have a carriage return at the end of each complete line of Hebrew text to prevent the right-most word (the first word in a
Hebrew sentence) from wrapping to the next line. The Word right to left template
does, however, provide an easy way to type Hebrew as if you were
typing in a right to left environment, while still using your English
application, and is ideal for typing short amounts of text.
System Requirements: The TrueType® fonts install into Microsoft® Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000, or NT, and work with all Windows
7-, Vista-, XP-, 2000-, and NT-compatible
applications that allow the user to select fonts from a font menu. (A previous version
is available for Windows Me, 98, or 95.) The product includes
a User's Manual and keyboard layout chart(s). The included keyboard driver(s) allows access to
four characters per key (instead of the normal two) and alternate keyboard
layouts. All documentation is in PDF format, available on the Windows Start
menu, and can be viewed and/or printed using
Adobe Reader. The fonts will print to any printer at
the highest quality allowed by your printer.
A custom version (fonts only) is available
for Linux,
but Linux users must provide alternate keyboard input for characters in the
extended character set. If you are ordering for Linux be sure to select the
Linux box on the Order Form.

Here's what others are saying about LaserHebrew and LaserHebrew II:
"This is awesome!"
Dr. Panos CR Comninos, Cape Town, South Africa
"For years now I've loved your fonts - they're simply the best. Nothing
on the market, whether free or for purchase, comes close. Thanks so
much, looks great! I always have loved your fonts and resources!"
Dr. Ronald L. Giese, Desert Springs Church, Albuquerque, NM, USA
"I am quite pleased with your wonderful fonts. On my Macintosh machines
I have been using your Greek and Hebrew fonts for over ten years. It is
for me, a New Testament scholar, a great pleasure to use your really
beautiful fonts. This time I bought the same fonts for Windows. I'm
equally happy with them."
Prof. Ichiro Sudo, Seinan Gakuin University, Fukuoka, Japan
"We are very happy with the Greek and Hebrew fonts recently purchased
from you. We are using these fonts to publish our journal, Reformed Theological
Review."
Sandra Searle, Administrator, Reformed Theological Review, Australia
"You always furnish excellent products."
Professor Anson F. Rainey, Tel Aviv University, Ramat Aviv, Israel
"I am very pleased with your fonts. They are crisp, clean
and you have them loaded with all the pointing, cantillations, and diacritics
that the other fonts don't have. I am teaching Hebrew and use your fonts to
build my quizzes, tests, and exercises from Weingreen. I include the accents
when they are important to the understanding of the texts. Your
mapiq/dagesh/shuruq solution is quiet effective and elegant. You have a great
font."
Prof. Shawn Madden, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary
"Your fonts are much more beautiful than [Microsoft's]
Windows 2000 fonts for Hebrew etc."
Veli Voipio, Finland
"I appreciate your very fine product. I cannot imagine life
without this software."
Noel H. Mayfield, Memphis, TN
"Thanks for your super fonts! You have my permission to quote me
on anything that I say about your products. They're super!"
James L. Johns, New College, University of Edinburgh, Scotland
"You are quick and professional as always. It's a
pleasure to work with everyone at Linguist's.... and I definitely spread
the word where I can about your Hebrew fonts. How impressed I was that
within a couple of days of my discovering a bug, Linguist's had mailed out
a fix to *every* registered user of your fonts. Keep up the great work!"
Joel Siegel, Berkeley, CA
