LaserGreek II for Windows
Easily type classical and Biblical Greek with all accents and breathing marks using a
logical, phonetic keyboard input. For example, type alpha on the 'a' key and add the
smooth breathing by typing the 'j' key. The breathing mark is automatically placed over
the previously-typed alpha. (This layout has become
a de facto standard among classical and Biblical Greek scholars.)
System Requirements: The TrueType® fonts install into Microsoft® Windows Vista, XP, 2000, or NT, and work with all Windows
Vista-, XP-, 2000-, and NT-compatible
applications that allow the user to select fonts from a font menu. (A previous version for Windows Me, 98, or 95, and a custom version
compatible with Windows 3.1 is available by request.) The product includes
a User's Manual, keyboard layout chart(s), and Character Code Table(s) showing
every character in the font(s). The included keyboard driver(s) allows access to
four characters per key (instead of the normal two) and alternate keyboard
layouts. All documentation is in PDF format, available on the Windows Start
menu, and can be viewed and/or printed using
Adobe Reader. The fonts will print to any printer at
the highest quality allowed by your printer.
A custom version (fonts only) is available
for Linux,
but Linux users must provide alternate keyboard input for characters in the
extended character set. If you are ordering for Linux be sure to select the
Linux box on the Order Form.
Cost: US$ 99.95, or $50 as an enhancement to Modern Greek

"I am quite pleased with your wonderful fonts. On my Macintosh machines
I have been using your Greek and Hebrew fonts for over ten years. It is
for me, a New Testament scholar, a great pleasure to use your really
beautiful fonts. This time I bought the same fonts for Windows. I'm
equally happy with them."
Prof. Ichiro Sudo, Seinan Gakuin University, Fukuoka, Japan
"The LaserGreek II
fonts are the
BEST fonts ever created."
Michael Straus,
Columbia University, New York

from you. We are using these fonts to publish our journal, Reformed Theological
Review."
Sandra Searle, Administrator, Reformed Theological Review, Australia
"The Linguist's Software Greek fonts work without
any glitches. They are beautiful! Really lovely fonts!"
Professor T. David Gordon, Grove City College, Grove City, Pennsylvania
"Superb ... elegantly intelligent while easy to use. Bravo!
[I am] utterly delighted ... vastly superior to any mode of entering Greek I
have previously tried (nearly everything possible: Lettrix, Turbofonts, Ibycus,
Nota Bene, WordPerfect, etc)."
Prof. John Boswell (deceased), Yale University
"I am a great admirer of your Greek fonts. You have a wonderfully
elegant keyboard design -- definitely superior to your competitors, including
Greekkeys. Thank you for bringing the old SuperGreek up to date."
Carrie Vandervelde, Department of Classical Studies, University of Richmond,
VA
"Above all, congratulations on a successful Greek font layout that actually
works and encourages Greek typesetting! Philip B. Payne and his staff have done
an excellent job in thinking out how to approach Greek."
Gale Akins, Humble Hills Press, Kalamazoo, MI
"Your Greek fonts are really perfect"
Nikolaos Trunte, Bonn, Germany
"I'm not retained by Linguist's Software (and certainly not by
GreekKeys, a cumbersome system that drove me nearly insane when I tried it); but
I would like to say, and not for the first time, that for me LaserGreek, in its
successive editions, is so far superior to every other Greek font system, in
every way, that I can't imagine why it hasn't swept the market. Minimal changes
to the American keyboard, and those supremely rational. The virtual abolition of
all cumbersome "grouping". Accents, breathings, &c. independent
and postpositive. Easy switching between fonts. The sum is that I can type
LaserGreek just as fast as Roman--and could do so only a week after
installation. What other system can offer that without requiring a large effort
of memorization followed by lengthy practice? The benefits were enormous ...
sigmas and correlation of platforms is wonderful. I'm both a classicist and a
professional author, and use LaserGreek all over the place, for books, articles,
editions, you name it."
Peter Green
Professor Emeritus of Classics, U. of Texas at Austin
Editor, Syllecta Classica
"Everything is installing as it should, and I am absorbing
all the brilliant things you've done with this software. I am very pleased
with how helpful you and your tech support are being and look forward to
using this for many years to come. Blessings on you for such a faithful
ministry in God's Word!"

which is by far the best and most beautiful set of Greek characters I have
ever seen."

products incessantly."

"I have been entirely satisfied with the product. Visually they are
beautiful fonts and enhance many publications for which I did camera ready
copy. Thank you."
Professor Emeritus John Catan, Prescott, AZ

have to say it's extremely user friendly. I really am delighted with the
fonts - within 24 hours I am typing almost as quickly in Greek as in
English!"

LaserGreek Pro fonts, beautiful typefaces and easy-to-use keyboard

and simple to use even for the computerly illiterate! With best wishes for
your continued success."

named after a biblical scholar. It's one of several fonts in the
Linguist's Software LaserGreek II package."

better [than] GreekKeys. The font Odyssea looks really nice."
