LaserGeorgian for Windows
LaserGeorgian for Windows includes two professional-quality, hinted, scalable
TrueType® and Type 1 fonts: TbilisiText and TbilisiCaps. You can change any text from
lower case to capital letters simply by changing it to the TbilisiCaps font. LaserGeorgian
Professional for Windows includes everything in LaserGeorgian plus three headline
typefaces: Batumi, Mtskheta, and Telavi. The included Keyboard Switcher utility provides
two input methods: 1) Traditional Georgian layout, and 2) Logical layout keyed to English
keyboard. You can easily mix English and Georgian text.
The fonts install into Microsoft® Windows XP, 2000, NT, Me, 98, 95, or 3.1x
and work with all Windows XP-, 2000-, NT-, Me-, 98-, 95- and 3.1x-compatible
applications that allow the user to select fonts from a font menu. The
Type 1
fonts require Adobe Type Manager® in Windows Me/98/95/3.1. The product includes
a User's Manual, keyboard layout chart(s), and Character Code Tables showing
every character in the font(s). The included Keyboard Switcher (keyboard driver)
allows access to
four characters per key (instead of the normal two) and alternate keyboard layouts.
The fonts alone (without Keyboard Switcher) will install into Linux,
but Linux users must provide alternate keyboard input for characters in the
extended character set. These fonts will print to any printer at
the highest quality allowed by your printer.

LaserGeorgian for Macintosh includes two TrueType® and ATM-compatible Type 1
fonts: TbilisiText and TbilisiCaps. You can change any text from lower case to
capital letters simply by changing it to the TbilisiCaps font. LaserGeorgian
Professional for Macintosh includes everything in LaserGeorgian and adds three
headline fonts: Batumi, Mtskheta, and Telavi. No option key positions needed for
any Georgian letters in contemporary use. Includes the Georgian typewriter
keyboard layout driver for people who prefer it to the English-equivalent
transliterated layout of the font itself.
System Requirements: System 7.1-9.x or OS X. The font is typed using either the US keyboard or
an included alternate keyboard, which installs only into OS X 10.2 and above or System 7.1-9.x. (The alternate keyboard does not support OS
X 10.0 or 10.1, which do not allow installation of alternate keyboard resources.
Owners of OS X 10.0 or 10.1 must use the US keyboard.) The product includes a
User's Manual, a keyboard resource, and keyboard layout chart(s).
