LaserCoptic for Windows

Professional-quality, hinted, scalable fonts, CopticLS and NagHammadiLS, both in ATM®-compatible, Type 1 and TrueType® formats. LaserCoptic contains the entire set of Coptic characters, including letters derived from Demotic and the characters for Sahidic, Fayumic, Bohairic, a minispace, and a variety of overstrike bars and dots and special Coptic diacritical marks which can be placed over or under any letter and in any combination. The logical, intuitive keyboard layout has Coptic sounds on their corresponding English keys.

The fonts install into Microsoft® Windows XP, 2000, NT, Me, 98, 95, or 3.1x and work with all Windows XP-, 2000-, NT-, Me-, 98-, 95- and 3.1x-compatible applications that allow the user to select fonts from a font menu. The Type 1 fonts require Adobe Type Manager® in Windows Me/98/95/3.1. The product includes a User's Manual, keyboard layout chart(s), and Character Code Tables showing every character in the font(s). The included Keyboard Switcher (keyboard driver) allows access to four characters per key (instead of the normal two) and alternate keyboard layouts. The fonts alone (without Keyboard Switcher) will install into Linux, but Linux users must provide alternate keyboard input for characters in the extended character set. These fonts will print to any printer at the highest quality allowed by your printer.

LaserCoptic for Macintosh

TrueType® and ATM-compatible type 1 hinted CopticLS and NagHammadiLS fonts with 10, 12, 14, 18, 24, 36, and 48 point bitmap fonts. Includes EuroScript® Coptic scripts for automatic selection of overstrike bars with or without understrike dots. The keyboard is arranged like an English typewriter, 'A' sound on A key, etc., following the alphabetic arrangement of LaserGreek.

System Requirements: The font may be typed using the US keyboard, or with an included keyboard resource that installs into OS X 10.2 and above or System 7.1-9.x. (The alternate keyboard does not support OS X 10.0 or 10.1, which do not allow installation of alternate keyboard resources. Owners of OS X 10.0 or 10.1 must use the US keyboard.) The alternate input method uses the EuroScript® scripting system, which installs into Classic Mode of OS X and into System 7.1-9.x. (EuroScript has been tested in OS X 10.3 Classic Mode.) The product includes a User's Manual, keyboard resource, and keyboard layout charts.
