LaserCheyenne™ in Unicode
provides the high-quality, Unicode-encoded CheyenneLSU™ font in TrueType
format for typing Cheyenne, plus English and Western
European Latin-based languages. The product includes a software deadkey
keyboard that provides logical, phonetic input of Cheyenne, including
special accented letters, in any Unicode-compatible application. For example—

The Cheyenne are one of the best known of the Great Plains tribes of Native
Americans. Today, the Cheyenne Nation is comprised of two united tribes: the
Só'taeo'o (or Só'taa'e or Sutai), and the Tsitsistas (or Tsétsêhéstâhese).
The Northern Cheyenne live in southeastern Montana, and the Southern
Cheyenne live in western Oklahoma. The Cheyenne language is an Algonquian
language, and is known as Tsêhésenêstsestôtse (or Tsisinstsistots) in
Cheyenne.

The Cheyenne alphabet consists of fourteen letters (a e h k ' m n o p s
š t v x), plus accents to note pitch. The
CheyenneLSU font includes these symbols plus accents for all west European
Latin-1 languages.

The voiceless vowels can be typed with overdots or overcircles, as shown
above.
