Two professional-quality, hinted, scalable TrueType and Type 1 fonts: SymbolGreekPF and
OdysseaF, both in plain, bold, italic, and bold-italic
styles. Both these fonts are standard classical Greek typefaces with tilde-style
circumflex accents. LaserByzantium includes all 35 accents, breathing marks, iota
subscripts, and diereses, which may be typed over any symbol in any combination. It also
includes composite combinations of epsilon and iota with accents and breathing marks. The
distinctive feature of this product is the keyboard layout. LaserByzantium
follows a modern Greek keyboard layout, modified to include easy typing of all accents and
breathing marks used in classical and Biblical Greek.
Note: LaserByzantium is a specialized product. It provides classical and Biblical Greek
fonts with a modified modern Greek layout. However, the fonts are not ASCII-compatible
with the fonts included in LaserGreek for Windows, LaserGreek II for Windows, or Modern
Greek for Windows. You should understand the differences between these products before you
make a purchase decision.
 | LaserGreek and LaserGreek II for Windows
are designed for classical and Biblical studies. They contain all the overstriking accents
and breathing marks found in LaserByzantium, but they also contain text-critical sigla and
symbols that are necessary for manuscript studies. These characters are not in
LaserByzantium. Furthermore, LaserGreek and LaserGreek II for Windows match the font
arrangement of our Greek New Testament and Greek
New Testament with Grammatical Tags. LaserByzantium does not. |
 | Modern Greek and Modern
Greek II for Windows have a modern Greek layout that matches
Greek Windows. The fonts in Modern Greek and Modern Greek II for Windows do not contain all the accents and
breathing marks used in classical and Biblical Greek, but do match the font arrangement of
Greek Windows (code page 1253), providing compatibility with files typed in Greek Windows.
LaserByzantium does not. |
 | LaserByzantium for Windows provides classical and Biblical Greek fonts with a modified
modern Greek layout. The fonts are standard classical Greek typefaces with tilde-style
circumflex accents. The unique feature of LaserByzantium is it follows a modified modern
Greek keyboard layout, modified to include easy typing of all accents and breathing marks
used in classical and Biblical Greek. This is for those who wish to type classical and
Biblical Greek with a modern Greek keyboard layout. |
