The CrossPlatform Converter is a Macintosh utility that enables you to transfer Russian, Eastern European, Modern Greek, or Turkish documents that follow the Microsoft and Apple code page standards for each of those languages between the Macintosh and Windows platforms. The converter can handle documents saved in either Rich Text Format (RTF or Interchange format) or Text-only formatting. The Linguist's Software font packages that follow the Microsoft or Apple coding standards are Cyrillic II, EuroSlavic, Modern Greek, and LaserTurkish. Note: This product does not translate between languages, it converts Macintosh Russian documents to Windows Russian documents (and back again), Macintosh Turkish documents to Windows Turkish documents (and back again), and so on. The user must have the appropriate font on each platform.

The CrossPlatform Converter will also convert files originating in Arabic Windows (using Arabic Windows code page 1256 fonts) to Macintosh Arabic Operating System or Arabic Language Kit fonts, using text only transfer (not Rich Text Format).

System Requirements: OS 7.1-9.x or Classic Mode. Does not run in OS X, but if you have the Classic system installed it will automatically launch in Classic Mode.
