What others are saying What others are saying

Professional-quality, hinted, scalable, bilingual Cyrillic-English Type 1 and TrueType® fonts. Cyrillic II includes Cyrillic and English characters and upper and lowercase stress accents to go over any character. Cyrillic II for Windows supports 13 Cyrillic alphabet languages: Avar, Belarus, Bulgarian, Chechen, Evenki, Kabardian, Lak, Lezgin, Moksha, Mordvin, Russian, Serbian, and Ukrainian. Cyrillic II for Macintosh supports those 13 languages plus Komi, Macedonian, Moldavian, and Udmurt. The fonts are available in nine typestyles: Times®-, Helvetica®- (Arial®-), Helvetica Condensed-, Palatino®-, Garamond-, Courier®-, Chancery®-, Slavonic-, and Optina-styles, in plain, bold, italic, and bold-italic styles (except Chancery, Slavonic, and Optina are in plain only). Optina is styled after the inscriptions on the icons created at the Optina monastery in Russia.

Cyrillic II comes with six optional keyboard layouts: Russian Computer, Russian Typewriter, AATSEEL transliterated (phonetic), Ukrainian, Serbian, and Bulgarian.

If you are transferring files from a Windows computer to your Macintosh, Cyrillic II fonts and the CrossPlatform Converter for Macintosh will allow any Macintosh user to transfer Cyrillic files (text-only format) to or from a Russian Windows (code page 1251) platform. It also allows easy transfer of files between the Mac and any version of Windows using a code page 1251 font, such as the Cyrillic II for Windows fonts.

Cyrillic II for Windows

Easily type 13 Cyrillic languages plus English.

The fonts install into Microsoft® Windows XP, 2000, NT, Me, 98, or 95 and work with all Windows XP-, 2000-, NT-, Me-, 98-, and 95-compatible applications that allow the user to select fonts from a font menu. (A custom version compatible with Windows 3.1 is available by request.) The Type 1 fonts require Adobe Type Manager® in Windows Me/98/95. The product includes a Setup Manual, a User's Manual, keyboard layout chart(s), and Character Code Tables showing every character in the font(s). (All documentation is in PDF format, and requires Adobe Reader to view/print.) The included Keyboard Switcher (keyboard driver) allows access to four characters per key (instead of the normal two) and alternate keyboard layouts. The fonts alone (without Keyboard Switcher) will install into Linux, but Linux users must provide alternate keyboard input for characters in the extended character set. These fonts will print to any printer at the highest quality allowed by your printer.

Select from nine typestyles: Times-, Helvetica- (Arial-), Palatino-, Garamond-, Courier-, Courier Condensed-, Chancery-, Slavonic-, and Optina-styles.

Cost: US$ 99.95 for any one typestyle; $50 for each additional typestyle; $249.95 for all nine typestyles (Cyrillic II Professional). (The $50 discounted price applies only to additional typestyles of this product for Windows.) Order
